AAT Kings Ghan Winner
Congratulations to Darren Birch of Perth WA, who submiitted the winning entry in our competition to win a trip on "The Ghan"
Here is Darren's winning Entry "AAT Kings tour to Cape Leeuwin would see Ken and I hike the 130km Cape to Cape trail. Beginning at the stately Heritage Leeuwin Lighthouse, which marks the meeting of the Great Southern Ocean and the wild Indian Ocean, we'd hike north and see spectacular melted-sapphire ocean vistas, as rugged cliff paths drop seaward into the foamy spray. This gives way to lush towering canopies of South-West Karri and Marri forest and emerges onto the platform of pristine white beaches before finally finishing at the rugged outcrop which houses the majestic Naturalist lighthouse... I just hope Ken can keep up!
